Condition Report:
This work is in very good condition. Upon close inspection, there are a few small vertical cracks on the left side of the red and a spot of craquelure observed in the yellow band. A faint hairline crack is seen in the white air balloon. Vertical irregularities are noted on the bottom right edge in green, possibly from an early cleaning job done by the artist. Original fibrous paintbrush hairs observed in isolated places. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals darker specks and splotches in the blue, most likely from an old oil spill. No signs of inpainting observed. Unframed.
