The detachable pendant/brooch of giardinetto design featuring carved and fluted emeralds, enhanced with carved rubies, black enamel, circular-cut and baguette diamonds, to a necklace similarly set, length approximately 460mm, adjustable to approximately 410mm; each unsigned, numbered, maker's marks for Raymond Duvernay, three small diamonds deficient.

Accompanied by two Mauboussin certificates of authenticity, dated 7 June 2007, stating that the jewels were created in 1929.

Accompanied by two Mauboussin certificates of authenticity, dated 7 June 2007, stating that the jewels were created in 1929.

Each unsigned. Pendant/brooch numbered 3397, necklace numbered 3459. Maker's marks for Raymond Duvernay, 10 rue de Louvois, Paris. Translucent emeralds slightly bluish green of medium saturation, heavily included, surface reaching inclusions, dark crystals, cavities and chips. Rubies purplish red of medium saturation, moderately to heavily included, surface reaching inclusions, cavities, chips, drill holes to some examples. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 17.00 - 18.50 carats, on average H-I, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount, three small diamonds deficient. Areas of loss to the black enamel. Tarnish to the metal on the reverse, scratches to the metal consistent with age and wear. Pendant loop likely a later addition. In good condition. Pendant/brooch measuring approximately 90 x 40mm. Total gross weight approximately 184 grams.
