Condition Report:
The wood presents with areas of wear and losses of varnish, together with scratches and abrasions, mainly visible on the top.
We also observe some scratches, tiny dents and tiny losses along the edges of the legs, as well as two former restorations to the apron.
The brass presents with normal oxidation consistent with the natural aging process of the material, along with some scuffs, light bumps and one crack to a weld on the top rim.

Catalogue Note:
This Éléphant table model appears in several interiors designed by Adolf Loos, notably for Dr. Hugo Haberfeld. Several variants are known, produced in different sizes and a variety of wood species, and in some cases fitted with a ceramic tile top.
