Late 19th century McClellan ''Style'' saddle with front shield indicating "12 INCH SEAT". Left front portion of saddle exhibits a brass plaque with stamping "HQ. 55". Saddle presents straps, wood stirrups, and belly strap. Leather exhibits some dryness and abrasions with surface exhibiting dirt and dust. Provenance: Eugene T.
