Sold with miniatures. Born in Poona, India. Attended Rugby School. Commissioned into the Royal Armed Corps as a wartime emergency commission 2nd Lieutenant on 19th November 1944. Joined A Squadron, 6th Royal Tank Regiment on 13th June 1945. Promoted to War Substantive Lieutenant and transferred to a Regular Commission on 25th January 1946. Transferred to the King’s Shropshire Light Infantry on 30th August 1947. Promoted Captain on 27th January 1952 and Adjutant of the Herefordshire Light Infantry. Promoted Major on 27th January 1959. Retired from the Light Infantry on 27th January 1980.
