Sold with photographs and service papers. Native of Gloucester. Enlisted on 20th January 1931 to serve until 26th October 1947, then extended his service until 12th August 1952. His award of the British Empire Medal was announced in the King's Birthday Honours List of 8th June 1950, being earned on active service in Malaya. Finally employed as a Sergeant Instructor for the Far East Flying Boat Wing at R.A.F. Seletar.
