Oxf. & Bucks. L.I.); British War and Victory Medals (15189 Pte. E. Pinson. Oxf. & Bucks. L.I.) very fine (6) £100-£140---Frederick Reginald John Harte attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and served with the 8th (Pioneer) Battalion during the Great War, initially on the Western Front and subsequently in Salonika. He transferred to the Army Reserve on 3 June 1919.Edward Pinson was born at Walsall on 20 May 1884, and attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry at Liverpool. He served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 26 January 1915, and was captured and taken Prisoner of War at Fayette, St. Quentin on the first day of the German Spring Offensive, 21 March 1918.
