Angell. 5/O. & B.L.I.); British War Medal 1914-20 (11543 Pte. R. S. Angell. Oxf. & Bucks. L.I.) good very fine (2) £280-£320---M.M. London Gazette 9 December 1916.Richard Sidney Angell was born in Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, and attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He served with the 5th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 7 April 1915, and was killed in action on 3 May 1917.
