E. Horton. 5/O. & B.L.I.); 1914-15 Star (3265 Pte. E. Horton, A. Cyc. Corps.); British War and Victory Medals (3265 Pte. E. Horton. A. Cyc. Corps.) light pitting, very fine (4) £300-£400---M.M. London Gazette 9 December 1916.Ernest Horton originally attested for the Army Cyclist Corps, and served with the 14th Divisional Cyclist Corps during the Great War on the Western Front from 10 September 1915, before transferring to the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, and seeing further service with the 5th Battalion.
