Two-Hundred-Fifteen (215) black and white, plus eight (8) color, plates from 'Medailles sur les Principaux Evenements du Regne de Louis le Grand, avec des Explications Historiques' ('Medals on the Main Events of the Regne of Louis the Great, with Historical Explanation') published Paris, de L'imprimerie Royale, 1702. Not complete and disbounded (no cover or spine). Includes title page and six-page table 'Table des Medailles Contenues en ce Volume'. Pages with gold-gilt edges. Page size measures 17.25-in. x 11.25-in. In variable condition ranging from fair to very good. Most common issue is foxing. Unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. If lot is absent of a condition report a condition report may be requested via email. Condition report is provided as an opinion only and is no guarantee as grading can be subjective.
