Pregevolissima opera sulla scienza dei polsi, che analizza il comportamento del polso, la frequenza ed il tipo di pulsazioni riscontrate direttamente dall'autore nella diagnosi di varie malattie. Al termine una tav. in rame indica con figure schematiche il comportamento del polso nelle malattie più frequenti. L'autore, C.G. Sachero 1787-1855), illustre medico torinese, professore di clinica medica a Torino e a Sassari, fu tra i più dotti assertori dell'arte sfigmica, appresa dal suo maestro Francesco Gardini che a sua volta ne aveva derivato la pratica dal celebre Carlo Gandini, iniziatore in Italia della sfigmica.

Very valuable work on the science of the wrists, which analyzes the behavior of the wrist, the frequency and type of pulsations found directly by the author in the diagnosis of various diseases. At the end a tav. in copper it indicates with schematic figures the behavior of the wrist in the most frequent diseases. The author, C.G. Sachero 1787-1855), an illustrious doctor from Turin, professor of clinical medicine in Turin and Sassari, was one of the most learned adeptors of the sphygmic art, learned from his teacher Francesco Gardini who in turn had derived the practice from the famous Carlo Gandini, initiator in Italy of the sphygmic.
