London: Cadell & Davies, 1799, FIRST EDITION, 4to, engraved folding hand-coloured map, 22 plates and 4 plates of inscriptions, contemporary calf-backed boards, uncut, some spotting or staining, tear in title repaired, binding worn
Clarke, E.D. Travels in various countries of Europe, Asia and Africa. London: Cadell & Davies, 1811-1823, 6 vol.; The Life and Remains of... Clarke. 1824, together 7 vol., 4to, numerous engraved plates and maps, contemporary diced calf gilt, some plates spotted or offset, spines of last 3 vol. worn (see footnote)
and 2 others, Gell's Pompeiana (8vo, 1817-19) and a poor copy of Galt's Voyages and Travels (4to, 1812)

The first four volumes of Clarke's Travels, which are generally in good condition, cover Greece, Turkey, the Holy Land and Egypt; the last two volumes covering Scandinavia and The Life and Remains, are in poorer condition.
