Let the summer come with this fun car. . . About the MEGA Tjaffer: The MEGA Tjaffer is in fact a Citroën AX with a plastic body. By its cocky look, plastic body, Citroën mechanics and multi-functionality the similarity with the Citroën Méhari is all too obvious. But the MEGA Tjaffer is ‘much more car’, much sturdier and better able to serve as a daily means of transport. The technique of the Tjaffer comes from Citroën. The base of the chassis designed for Tjaffer is the undercarriage of the AX. Problems with rust will not arise easily because the chassis is completely galvanized. On the chassis 2 roll-bars have been placed, in the spot of the windshield and behind the front seats, allowing for a sturdy construction. On the 2 roll-bars is it allowed to transport for example a surfboard or bike, specific accessories are available for this purpose. The Tjaffer has a very low centre of gravity and is not too heavy. The Tjaffer has front wheel drive, the delicious Citroën road-holding and a safe handling. This is the 1. 4 diesel variant with 53 HP. This engine runs fine, is solid, hassle-free and economical.
