[ translate ]

Biblical concordance including all the words in Tana"ch, arranged alphabetically according to their root words, by Rabbi Yitzchak bar Natan. Venice, Daniel Bomberg Press, 1523. First edition. Complete copy.
On the title page: 'Meir Netiv, called "Concordance" ... to grasp the holy language, its usage and its roots and to find ... the desired verse and its source.' Especially large work which was used over hundreds of years. Fundamental book of historic importance, first edition of the Hebrew concordance, which was prepared by a Torah scholar. The author writes in his introduction that this work was written to prevent oppressors of the Jews from using incorrect interpretations of verses in their disputes with Jews.
