Spectacular rare 1st. Choice Ceremonial Bowl/ Plate, cobalt blue, decorated with a heavy gilded acanthus leaves, in excellent condition.

It is a raised bowl, double gloss glazed on the white gilded leaves, heavy gilded on the other leaves, all together in a symmetrical twisted model of acanthus leaves, with cobalt blue painted in between.

Polychrome painting with flowers is a pattern of sublime delicacy. Floral painting on porcelain has a long tradition at the Meissen manufactory that has grown continually throughout the ages and continues on to this day.

Rare and precious, more like a jewel, this is an eye catching splendor bowl, versatile piece to be cabinet displayed or magnificent centerpiece for the most pretentious ones.

It is marked with Meissen blue crossed swords mark and impressed numbered, First Choice, in excellent condition, some loses of gold, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
