Meissen (German) Painted Porcelain Cherub Figures & Figural Grouping of Tryst, Ca. 1900, H 3" W 3" L 3.5" 3 pcs | the lot includes one cherub with a hand muff (H 3.75" X W 1.75" X D 1.25"), one cherub with fish basket (H 3.75" X W 2" X D 1.5"), and one figural grouping depicting a trysting couple (H 3" X W 3" X L 3.5"). Each with numerical marks incised to the undersides and cobalt Meissen mark under glaze. Circa 1900. Provenance: Property inherited by descent, Harrisville, Michigan.

Condition Report: As-is condition. The cherub with hand muff has chipped and lost wings. The cherub with fish basket has heavy conservation and inpainting to the back-facing left wing. The trysting couple has conservation and inpainting to the girl's foot and grape vine, and the girl's extended arm is chipped and lost at the elbow. | Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
