Meissen Style Antique German Porcelain Floral Lamp

An antique Meissen style German porcelain oil lantern converted to an electrical lamp. A large glazed white porcelain baluster form featuring a profusion of delicate applied flowers, with hand decorated gilt embellishments, and a series of figural paintings depicting lovers in idyllic pastoral landscapes, all over a quartet of scrolling form feet. Brass lamp fixture to summit surmounted by a long cylindrical glass chimney. Backstamp with Meissen style blue crossed batons surmounted by letter T and stamped GERMANY to underside. Body measures approximately 25" x 9" x 9". Chimney measures approximately 12" x 3.25" x 3.25".

Dimensions: 36 X 9 X 9 in.

Condition: Good to fair condition having mild to moderate age related surface wear and losses to floral forms throughout. Working condition. Estate fresh to the market.
