An extremely rare find of twelve Meissen porcelain Indian red cups and saucers dating from the 18th century A Meissen porcelain coffee and tea cups and saucers. Gilt and painted in red with Indianische Blumen issuing from rockwork, the border with trailing foliage alternating with panels. Circa 1740, marked with small crossed swords in underglaze blue. Condition; very good, tiny tiny fleabites to rim, very little loss of enamel. L. : 10. 5 cm - H. 4. 5 cm (the cups) Dia. : 13 cm (the saucers)
