Today his work can be found in many galleries and museums such as the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. This depicts a quay in the Austrian city of Melk, which sits on the Danube River.This Benedictine abbey was built between 1702 and 1736 and designed by the Austrian architect, Jakob Prandtauer, and is famous for the it's monastic school, the Stiftsgymnasium Melk. The abbey is also known for containing the tomb of Saint Coloman of Stockerau and a large collection of medieval manuscripts.
