Asia ex magna orbis terre descriptione...Gerard Mercator (1512-1594). Engraved map with original hand color. Amsterdam: R. Mercator, 1595. 17 3/4 x 21 inches sheet. Derived from the elder Mercator's world map of 1569, this map of Asia was engraved by his grandson.
