Thank you for your interest in this Mercedes-Benz C124 220E. This is a very nice original copy. Originally delivered in Germany! NO USA IMPORT! Original EUROPEAN model. The paint is still completely original for the most part. Of course, after 27 years it was ever updated or repainted here and there. With a total of 2 owners, this 220E is well preserved. This Mercedes was delivered new to Mercedes Düsseldorf on 9 August 1993. Was maintained there until 1995. Then the 1st owner decided to buy a Coupé model and sell the Convertible. In May 1995 it was sold to his 2nd and also the last owner of this 220E. Until the last service, it has always been maintained by the same dealer and is properly maintained. Every year new oil and filters was standard. At 160,000 it got new brake pads, brakes and spark plugs. The 2. 2L engine starts immediately and runs fantastic. The automatic transmission shifts well without any defects and the brakes function properly. The convertible top still looks neat. Minor signs of wear. The convertible top properly functioned until 1 month ago. This car was stored in a warm and dry place all year round and was only used for holiday trips during summer months. The convertible top opens but the electric closure presently doesn’t work. So probably a broken cable or a broken switch. This would be a simple and easy job for any good handyman. The rear right window also needs to be checked. Furthermore, all electric windows work very well and also lower electrically on the electric convertible top opening switch. The original interior is still very neat. The wonderful colour combination gives this 220E a unique appearance, both the young and old want to be seen in it. The dashboard is very neat without any cracks. Full options vehicle! Electric mirrors and windows. Heated seats left and right WORKING! And of course the rare extra option air conditioning! Presently, after 15 years the 2nd owner wants to sell this car and get the latest model that is, of course, a wonderful convertible. Who wouldn't want this 220E? Beautiful car with a wonderful story.
