The 170D (W136 I) was the first diesel car of the post-war era and the third in history, after the 260D and the Hanomag Rekord. In 1950, the whole range was upgraded. In the case of the diesel version, a new engine was introduced, still an OM636, but with 1. 8 litres and a maximum power of 40 hp, with a top speed of 105 km/h. The 170 diesel thus upgraded was known as the 170Da (W136 VI) and would be sold until 1952. Car registered in 1952, with chassis number 1361600070552. Fitted with original Rome number plate, new battery and new tyres. Body in good condition, with signs of wear due to time and ageing. The interior, mechanics and underbody are in good condition; in particular the underframe has been restored. Car registered with ASI since 2012.
