Mercedes-Benz - 230 S Heckflosse- 1968

This classic Mercedes 230 S is from 1968 and it is one of the last Heckflosse / Finntail models sold in the Netherlands. It still has the original Dutch license plate from 1968 and that is very special. Completely dismantled in recent years, resprayed inside and out in the original dark red colour (Weinrot) and the mechanics were completely taken care of, the engine was completely overhauled (about 20 km ago, it still needs running in) . The clutch and exhaust were also renewed. The interior has been reupholstered, the headliner was replaced as well as the rubbers on windows and doors. The chassis was largely renewed a few years ago with a new differential, new shock absorbers, brakes and beautiful whitewall tyres. It drives excellent and has switches on the steering. The original radio is also available. A beautiful car to see and drive in, some things can be improved such as the carpet (original and neat but no longer new) and the chrome has slight wear. The car can be viewed and picked up in Herkenbosch, the Netherlands.
