Mercedes-Benz - 250 TD W124 E 250 Diesel T-Modell - 1995

For sale is a W124 E 250 Diesel / 250TD, model year 1995, second hand with me. The vehicle is in technically good condition and drives as if it had rolled off the assembly line yesterday. The engine starts immediately and runs confidently like an old marine diesel. It loses some oil (see photo front wall & "dry" photo of the interior underbody protection) but so little that it is hardly noticeable and nothing would have to be refilled between the 10,000 km oil change intervals. The automatic gear shifts as it should when it is warm, but when the oil is cold, it is a bit touchy and sometimes a gear slips a bit. However, this is in the normal range of the 4-speed transmissions of the 124 and 201 series. Visually, it has a few scratches and also some rust, e. g. on the wheel arches and the tailgate as well as rust film on the underbody - but this isn’t problematic as the TÜV inspector gave it a new TÜV for 2 years without hesitation. In the long term, you should replace at least one (rear right) , possibly also the second (front left) fender or have it repaired and possibly also weld the sheet metal in the jack mounts. As with almost every W124, these are rusty but not rusted through! I think the photos show everything quite openly and honestly, so you can get a good impression of the vehicle. The interior is in an absolutely mint condition except for minimal signs of wear and tear. On the driver's seat, the previous owner (an old lady, farmer's wife) ironed a "patch" on because the seat was worn underneath and she wanted to practically stop the wear and tear. Clever! And you hardly see it if you don't know it’s there. The rest of the interior is rated at least with Grade 2. This is not often found - especially not in vehicles with this mileage. The blue interior harmonises perfectly with the stylish and brilliant silver colour code 744 - a true classic. Everything in the vehicle works, only the air conditioning no longer cools like a new car, this should be serviced once and refilled. In addition to electric windows and the already mentioned air conditioning, the car has an automatic transmission, an outside temperature display, radio cassette with 4 speakers, two airbags, an original radio remote control and rare 17-inch AMG Styling 2 rims, which alone are worth about 2500 EUR. The tyres are from Continental and have been driven less than 500 kilometres. Hop in and drive!
