Mercedes-Benz - 280 SE - 1970

The new S-class (W108) was introduced in 1965. The main difference with its predecessor, the so-called 'Heckflosse', was the appearance. The chrome bumpers became less massive and were fitted with rubber bumpers. The result was a beautiful and modest classic line. Today, the W108/109 is still characterised as an elegant car. This car was imported from California in 1999 and then restored. Invoices and photos are available. The car has air conditioning and electric windows at the front and the back. Both are supplied from the factory. The car also has an original Becker radio with electric antenna. All of these options work properly. The car is in well-running condition and has been maintained by Mercedes specialists of which the maintenance history is available. An original tow bar was fitted in 2015 and it was only used for a small trailer for holidays in the Netherlands. There are spots of rust starting to develop on the boot and left door, which need attention. Please view the photos. In 2017, the car was valued at € 30,000. The car can be viewed and picked up in Voorschoten in the Netherlands.
