Mercedes-Benz - 300 SE Cabriolet - 1966

Mercedes-Benz 300 SE Cabriolet “replica” from 1966, originally modified at the request of the customer. It was born as a coupé transformed into a convertible, with original factory compliant materials. The 300 SE convertible model was built only in 708 units, while the coupé version in 2,419 units. A special feature of this version was the suspension system with innovative pneumatic pads whose pressure is controlled by a compressor, an additional device automatically adjusts the height of the car from the ground. It is equipped with the big 3,000 cc 6-cylinder 160 hp engine that allows a compromise of flexibility and power available for the most demanding drivers, equipped with hydraulic power steering and air conditioning, this one is present but removed from the car, and is therefore supplied to be mounted. Interior preserved in excellent condition and never restored! Body in wonderful condition, only painted at the end of the 1990s by a workshop specialised in classic cars. Car in very good condition, ready to travel any distance on the road, supplied with use and maintenance book, service book and original tool kit. Regular periodic inspection.
