Unique Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 3. 5 from 1970. This chic Mercedes-Benz was delivered new in Germany in 1970. It was imported in the Netherlands in 1999. The car is unrestored and has largely its first paint. In this series, only 951 units were built of the W109 with the 3. 5 V8. Engine, automatic transmission and chassis belong together (matching numbers) . The interior has green leather which should be replaced. However, real purists will not find this necessary because of the "patina". The car has been standing still since 2015 and needs a service. The engine runs well and the automatic transmission shifts fine. The car was fitted recently with 4 new whitewall tyres. The brakes are in order. The 300 SEL has air suspension. An appointment has already been made to replace a bellow in the front left which leaks. This will be done in the next few days. The Mercedes has 4 electric windows and an electric sliding roof.
