Mercedes-Benz - 350 SL - 1972

Beautiful 350SL in good condition. The car comes from Dallas, Texas, USA. Fitted with Euro bumpers and lighting, not often seen like this in the US. The paint is in good condition but has some wear. Beautiful patina which is normal for a car this age (almost 50 years old) . New soft-top mounted in the Netherlands. The seats were reupholstered in the Netherlands in the correct style, they are therefore as new. The right seat is missing the cover plate on the side. The hardtop is in very good condition. The car was registered in the Netherlands in June this year. The car hasn’t really been put into use yet. The engine runs a bit raw from standing still for a long time. New spark plugs will probably improve this. The gauges were overhauled and are in good condition. Origin Becker Europe radio in good, working condition. The beautiful whitewall tyres have more than enough tread. The door rubbers are not dried out, but have signs of age. Description of the paintwork: overall very nice but you can always spot something on black paint. B The top edge of the right mudguard against the engine has damage as well as the rear left mudguard. The top of the boot lid, just above the star, has touched-up damage. The back of the boot has some small bubbles (no rust) , as well as on the rear right side. The chrome on the rear bumper has some corrosion on the top left. It’s just a very nice car to enjoy and drive. Respraying would be a solution if you want it looking perfect, I don’t think it’s necessary and a shame to change its current condition.
