The 500SL(C) , the 380SL (BM107. 045) and the 380SLC (BM107. 025) were introduced in 1980 as a replacement for the 350 models. These had the new alloy 3. 8L engine (M116E38) with 218 HP (5500 rpm) and 305 Nm (4000 rpm) . This Mercedes is in original condition (original paint, engine and transmission are all original) . The car starts immediately, shifts through all gears and idles nicely. The interior is in relatively neat condition and features an original Mercedes leather upholstery, however, it does need some attention (dashboard has some cracks and left door card is damaged) .
