. Only 11,198 units of this Mercedes-Benz convertible were manufactured in 1983. The 500SL(C) , the 380SL (BM107. 045) and the 380SLC (BM107. 025) were introduced in 1980 as replacement for the 350 models. These had the new alloy 3. 8L engine (M116E38) with 218 HP (5,500 rpm) and 305 Nm (4,000 rpm) .

. This Mercedes is in a neat and technically well-maintained condition, the car has nice Champagne Metallic (paint code 473) paintwork apart from a few small traces of wear. The vehicle starts immediately, shifts smoothly and powerfully through all gears, idles nicely at 800 rpm and brakes properly. The interior is in good condition and has original Mercedes leather.

. The miles counter (110,000 miles) is replaced for the extensive technical restoration of this Mercedes. Since the restoration, the car has travelled 1,104 miles. The following works have been performed, among others:
