Link to the driving video: https: //youtu. be/3j6GDr. Oep. Y0 From the fall of 1971, 450 SLs were produced, initially for the US market. At 5,000 rpm, its M 117 engine delivered 132 k. W (180 hp) for the California version and 140 k. W (190 hp) for the other states. US trade designation 350 SL 4. 5, non-US trade designation 450 SL (225 hp) in the European version. Top speed was 215 km / h: from 0 to 100 km / h it increased in 8. 8 seconds. In 1972, the 450 SLC appeared, a suitable coupé version, with identical engine and identical performance. Before March 1973, both were intended solely for export, after which they were included in the general range of sales. This exact specimen was produced in December 1971. In 1971, 2,331 pieces (including prototypes) of the R107 E45 model were produced. The Mercedes R107 model from the beginning of production in such perfect condition is a treat for collectors, there are not many copies from the first series on the market, high upward trends in the prices of these cars. On world markets recently they are showing more and more interest also as a capital investment, although above all the car is a lot of fun as an example of a classic that you can travel freely and comfortably.
