Mercedes-Benz - W124 200D - 1989
For reasons of space, I am offering this extremely economical, manual Mercedes 200 D pre-facelift (!) of the W124 series from our private collection.
Very nice original condition, see photos. Honest condition 2, also according to classic-analytics professional check.
Minimal signs of wear: Small stone chip on the hood, one window crank without cover (does not affect function) , minimal clouding in the corner of the rear window (not noticeable from the inside) . Please take a look at the attached photos and come and see for yourself during a personal inspection.
This stylish Mercedes diesel, which we in the family have nicknamed the 'wandering dune' (top speed 160 km/h) , is of course fully suitable for everyday use and with its extremely reliable, simple technology (it is not without reason that even today you can still find countless Mercedes 200Ds from this series, some of which have clocked up several million kilometers, as taxis all over the world) , its large sliding/pop-up roof, very spacious trunk and very economical fuel consumption, it is also ideal for longer trips, even to the south.
This beautiful and very well-maintained car was first delivered to the Mercedes plant in Sindelfingen on March 9, 1989 and was meticulously serviced at Mercedes up to 100,000 km. The subsequent maintenance can be traced using the service booklet.
The last maintenance service with an oil change of 10W40 was carried out at 219,184 km in a specialist workshop that we have trusted for many years. At 221,041 km the exhaust was replaced (middle and rear silencers) . At 221,437 km all glow plugs were replaced and the sunroof was overhauled (grommets, sliding blocks, supports, lifting levers, springs and right lifting angle replaced) in a Mercedes and BMW workshop with a lot of experience with the 124 series - everything works perfectly.
The vehicle is in surprisingly good condition considering its age and mileage.
The service booklet with the original data card and the on-board folder with the original operating instructions etc. are of course present and complete.
Non-smoking vehicle, no animals (except the original Mercedes wobbly dachshund) .
