Merry couple on the country side. 18th c Drawing, red chalk (sanguine), 22,5 x 28 cm, laid paper, unsigned (some creases in the centre slightly affecting the image). Stuck under passe-partout, under gilt wooden frame (not studied outside frame). A comical village scene with a drunken man led outside the inn by his wife. A man in the background can be seen urinating against a shed.
