Antique Meshkin runner, 410 x 91 cm. In used condition, about 110 years old. The colours look very beautiful on that black background. Natural plant-based dyes were used. Corrosion in the black/brown wool due to age and because these dyes naturally do this. It is a good sign of age and of the use of natural dyes. Not washed recently, but it is clean and ready for use.
