Bahamonde who over a period of 20 years acquired his collection from various prestigious dealers and has now decided to downsize his beloved collection. His degree in ancient Near East and Roman Britain archaeology from Manchester University, one of the best in the U. K. and passion for ancient history is reflected in this intriguing cup. An outstanding ancient Mesopotamian stone cup in high relief carving showing two ibexes, one which is being attached by a lion. Height: 10 cm. Diameter 9 cm. Condition: Very good condition overall considering its ancient age and material; the cups has been professionally cleaned and repaired along the rim and some wearing to the front of the lion/ Shipping: It will be sent professionally packaged using an express service trackable and signed for at delivery.
