Metal String Instrument Sculpture
48 inches tall. A large scale decorative sculpture modeled after the form of a cello or double bass. The body is constructed of sheet metal panels with visible seams and a flat back, featuring cut-out f-holes on the front plate. The neck and headstock are constructed of wood, terminating in a stylized scroll and fitted with four wooden tuning pegs. A detached wooden bridge is secured to the neck with wire. A wire loop is attached to the upper rear of the body for wall mounting.
