The drumhead also reads, "Metal Up Your Ass", the title of a Metallica demo recorded on November 29, 1982, at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco. The name was to be used as the band's first album name, however Metallica's record company did not let them use the name. The album then became "Kill 'Em All" after Cliff Burton out of emotion said, "I hate the managers. Let's just Kill 'Em All."
