36mm x 58mm. Bronze medal with obverse depicting panoplies of arms with border reading "EL ESTADO DE ZACATECAS AL VENCEDOR DE TAMPICO". Reverse with Mexican eagle and liberty cap. Awarded for participation in the Battle of Tampico in 1829 against Spain during their attempted reclamation of the county. **Good condition. Some minor to moderate wear to detail on obverse and reverse. Hole has been added for suspension.** $300 - $500
