Broadside on laid paper, 8.5" x 12.5". Concerning the exploits of Mariano Caro and Manuel Carrillo, both deserters of the Durango Cavalry Regiment. They, with Julian Avitia, Teodoro Heredia, and others embarked on a robbery spree. Additional crimes included forgery, jail breaking, and assault. On December 15, 1825, he was captured and initially sentenced to death, though it was commuted to ten years imprisonment. Upon later review, the death penalty was upheld and Caro was executed.
