Michael Garmen (American, b. 1938): 1976, mixed-media shadowbox sculpture titled, 'Day's End'. Housed in a custom wood shadowbox frame, this piece is from the artist's, 'City-Scape' series and depicts a pair of feet peeking from curtains to rest on the window ledge of a brick motel. The ledge with a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon and a pack of Marlborough Red cigarettes resting on it. Signed in the brickwork, 'Michael Garmen 1976' and with a brass name plate on the wood frame.
Dimensions are: 18 1/2 inches tall X 24 inches long X 4 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
