Michael Thonet - Gebrüder Thonet - Wien, Thonet Austria - Chair

Beautiful armchair, large chair. Model No. 14 with armrests (large variant) by the Thonet brothers. Underneath the chair are hallmarks, with on the logo the letters GT left and right (Gebrüder Thonet Wien) . This logo dates from the late 19th, early 20th century. The stamp with 'Thonet' is also present. This chair/armchair of the world famous model is in a good, solid condition. Beautiful due to the round shapes of the curved wood. The wicker webbing seat is slightly bumpy but intact (some straw fractures can be seen from underneath) . Otherwise the chair is in a good condition with traces of wear that fit age and use. Three new screws have been used. Please see the photos for an accurate impression.
