Biography: A painter and graphic artist, he studied at the Kharkov real school, then in 1879-1887 at the IAH, first as volnoslushayuschego, then in 1882 as a permanent student with PP Chistyakov VD Orlovsky, MK Klodt. He graduated with the title of IAH class artist 1-st degree. He attended a private academy F. Cormon in Paris. From 1891 on he exhibited his works at the Paris Salon. He participated in academic exhibitions. From 1901 he was the first painter of the Naval Staff of Russia. His works are in the Central Naval Museum in St. Petersburg, the State Museum of Ukrainian Art in Kiev and others.
