Microcline var. Amazonite & Albite Jack Rabbit Mine, Lake George, Teller Co., Colorado, USA "A cluster of blue amazonite crystals growing with some mounds of white albite var. cleavelandite. Collected with Bob Bartsch during the summer of 1983 and I got the specimen as well as 11 others when he willed me his collection after his death. The scale under the specimen is an inch with a rule at one cm." - Rock H. Currier A lovely combination of turquoise blue, blocky prisms of Amazonite set against the pure white blades of the Cleavelandite, making for an interesting textural contrast. Personally collected by Bob Bartsch in 1983.
