Mid-Century Christmas & Figurines

A group of Christmas decorations and figurines dating to the mid-20th century, primarily constructed from hard plastic, celluloid-style materials, and bottle-brush tinsel. The lot includes a large angel tree topper featuring a plastic head, multi-tiered gold-toned foil crown and wings, and a pink mesh skirt accented with gold stars. A red hard plastic sleigh with white scrolled runners is included, featuring a seated Santa Claus figure and two white reindeer with red harnesses. The collection also contains several textured popcorn or mica-coated snowmen in pink and light blue, wearing black top hats and red scarves, some with tinsel broom accessories. A white tinsel bottle-brush tree is decorated with multi-colored plastic miniature ornaments and set upon a red and white plastic spool base. A small wooden and composite nativity diorama features a glittered roof and fixed figures including the Holy Family and Wise Men. Two small composition-style angel figures are present, one in white and one in light blue; the blue angel bears a circular red stamp on the base reading Made in W. Germany. Additional items include a large plastic figure in a red hat and blue overalls with red and white checkered gloves, a small Santa in a sled, green plastic trees, and brown plastic fence sections.
