It comprises three works (Sionita & Hesronita, ‘De nonnullis orientalibus urbium’; ‘De moribus atque institutis Turcarum’, by the French diplomat C. Richier, and W. Drechsler's ‘Historia Arabum’). 3. An account of the antiquities of Constantinople by Gilles (1490-1555), considered one of the founders of Byzantine archaeology.
