Likely Persian or Middle Eastern silver betel box, XRF tests 90% silver, round covered form, the lid with repousse undulating dragon, foliate and vine decoration within an engraved foliate border and the sides with engraved vine and foliate designs. The base with two impressed hallmarks. 2 1/2" H x 8" dia. 22.73 troy ounces.
Condition Report: Overall good condition with expected use wear. Dent to base, approx. 1".
