Palmer" lower right. circa 1860. 14 x 17 inches visible, 17 x 20 inches framed. Showing a single double-stacker plying the Mississippi, with a flatboat in the foreground and the moon overhead. Believed to be by the "Fanny" Palmer who did a lot of work for Currier & Ives, including the well-known image of the "Natchez" and "Eclipse" racing on the Mississippi River.
