Polish. A letter between the Mielecki brothers of the Gryf coat of arms, the last generation of this extinct family. The author requests the sale of honey and sends 6 red zlotys. On the blank pages are farm records listing the workers on the Ostrowy estate near Kolbuszowa. There are 7 “herdsmen,” e.g., Wojciech Kokoszka, Jakub Gromadka, Wojciech Gacek; 5 “laborers,” e.g., Jan Dudzik, Piotr Polak; and 4 “bailiffs.”
Condition: Traces of old water damage that have faded part of the text; a small loss of paper caused by the seal closing the letter being torn off.
