A showcase of a collection of Mikky? ceramics & "teaching tools" at the Nara National Museum which is one of the pre-eminent national art museums in Japan. Mikky? is a Japanese term for the Vajrayana practices of Shingon Buddhism and the related practices that make up part of the Tendai and Kegon schools. There are also Shingon and Tendai influenced practices of Shugend?.
Condition Report: Wear to corners of clamshell case, rear joint cracked, front top and bottom rear corners split having been previously stapled; hints of wear to cloth, else fine in about very good clamshell case.
