Jean Milo (1903-1993) was the pseudonym of Belgian author and artist Émile Van Gindertael. He was also a poet, essayist and novelist. As a painter, he was influential over Edgard Tytgat who wrote a biography about him. In 1986 The Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium held a Retrospective exhibition.
